PowerGuardIQ monitors AC power quality at wayside locations, detecting voltage sags, swells, outages, and degradation trends that are otherwise invisible until equipment fails. It uses two data paths: a primary path via the RECO Smart Charger over SNMP (no additional hardware required), and a secondary path via KB DAU analog voltage channels for sites without RECO chargers.
PowerGuardIQ is on the OEG roadmap. The analytics architecture reuses ~70% of the BattTrackIQ codebase.
